How it started

Brief

A personal project with no team and no budget; just frustration on seeing how stray animals are abused, neglected, and ignored while the shelters that do take care of them often need more resources. Many kind-hearted people who want to help exist, but they didn’t have the resource to do so. What is the way to help without actually spending actual money?

What it's supposed to do

Users play simple games for free. Each session generates ad revenue, which gets donated to partner shelters to cover food, medical care, and rescue costs.

Why it was hard

Everything was built alone: the donation model, shelter partnerships, games, and how to keep users coming back. Growing the platform without any paid marketing was the hardest part.
